Design Deliveries are not the goal, they are a step

Complete specifications of your designs in Figma are not the goal. Let me repeat that: It does not matter how clean your Figma file is and how elaborate your specs are.

Only the result that ends up in the users' hands matters. Do the users achieve their goals? If yes, great.

Software today is so adaptive to the user and the hardware they are running on, that you will have a hard time creating all potential constellations or states your design will be.

Figma designs are communication, a visualisation of a shared goal. Figure out for your team how much detail you need, but don't assume every team needs the same amount of specs.
